Stephen P. Hayes died suddenly at the age of 57 on July 2, 2009. Husband of 33 years to Patricia (nee Granberg). Son of Mary and the late Philip Hayes. Brother of Barbara Nicollet (James), Thomas (Nancy), Robert, William (Anita) and the late Michael (Frances). Son-in-law of Francis and Terry Granberg, brother-in-law of Alfred (Mary Ellen) and William (Lourdes), and uncle of 10 nieces and nephews. Stephen had more than 20 years of service to the NY State Insurance Fund. He was a member of the St. Martin of Tours Bowling League and the NY Railroad Historical Society. His family and friends will cherish his memory forever. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A prayer service was held July 8 with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery.

Obituary: Marion ‘Tess’ Teslik

At 92, Marion “Tess” Teslik was an independent, quick-witted, working woman with a flair for fashion.

Growing up in Jamaica, Queens, Ms. Teslik attended finishing school after her high school days and later enrolled at Fordham University.

She attended three years of college before meeting her husband, Alexander, Jr., while on a train traveling between New York and Connecticut. They later married and Ms. Teslik, an only child, went on to have three children, Alexander, Steven and Melanie.
