Peter M. Cusack, 77, of South Farmingdale passed away May 6, 2014. Retired New York LIfe Insurance employee. Beloved husband of Loretta. Loving father of Susan Toscano (Joseph) and Michael (Anne). August J. Eberling a longtime Farmingdale resident passed away at the age of 88 on April 18, 2014. August was a proud U.S. Army veteran having served from 1944 to 1946. While serving in Belgium he was wounded. He received numerous medals including a Purple Heart. After his discharge, he returned to Farmingdale and was reunited with his beloved wife, Janet (nee Wernex). When he passed away they had been married for 66 years. He retired as chief custodian from the Plainedge School District. Along with his wife Janet, he is survived by their three children and their spouses: Janet and John Sharp, Kathryn and Anthony Pileggi, and August Jr. and Evelyn; his cherished grandchildren Amanda Gusz, Thomas Pileggi, Morgan Sharp, August III, Madeline Tekverk, Elizabeth Thrasher, and six loving great grandchildren. A prayer service was held at the funeral home April 22, followed by interment with Military honors at Calverton National Cemetery. Frank V. Castelli, a lifelong resident of Bethpage passed away at the age of 99 on April 27, 2014. A graduate of Farmingdale High School and of the Pratt Institute as a chemical engineer. Longtime Chemical Engineer at Republic Aviation in Farmingdale. After his retirement from Republic, he worked in his later years at Grumman Aerospace, Bethpage. An avid gardener, photographer and carpenter. He received many awards for Ballroom dancing. He enjoyed family gatherings at the family home in Montauk, along with fishing with his nieces and nephews. He is survived by several generations of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters and brothers, Rose Badstuebner, Albert, Josephine Hepner, Mildred Krich and Jimmy Castelli. A Funeral Mass was held Friday, May 2, at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx. Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.

Margaret Ryan formerly of Farmingdale passed away in Cold Spring Hills Nursing Home, Woodbury on April 18, 2014, at the age of 105. Retired Recovery Room Nurse at Mid-Island Hospital, Bethpage. Predeceased in 1979 by her beloved husband, John. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Reed, son-in-law John, Four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Reinaldo Sanabria Dubon, 39, of Amityville died unexpectedly on April 6, 2014, survived by many family members both here and in Honduras.
