The Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation (MCLEF) will hold their 21st Annual Long Island Golf Outing at the Huntington Country Club on Monday, Oct. 15. All are invited. Registration begins at 10 a.m. Closing ceremonies will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Breakfast and a buffet dinner will be served. Eighteen holes of golf, bagpipers and military pageantry will highlight the day. A raffle will include two sets of two-night stays at Treasure Island in Las Vegas, with golf and round trip airfare from Jet Blue included.
Raffle prizes also will include two tickets to the Marine Gala on April 3, 2013 at the Waldorf Astoria with overnight accommodations that evening, Mets tickets, NFL memorabilia, golf foursomes on prestigious Long Island courses, and more.
This year’s honorees will be two veterans from World War II and Vietnam, decorated Marines James Papandreau and Benjamin Cascio. Cost is $295 per golfer for the entire day.
