PAL Flag Football Report

PEANUT 1: The Jets battled the Steelers. Emma Savino had runs of 20 and 40 yards and scored a TD. Hunter Kinhackl scored his first touchdown of the season on a run right up the middle. The defense was led by Dean Kott who recorded three flags and Luke Begely who had two flags.

PEANUT 2: The Saints and 49ers played a gem this week at Woodward Parkway Field. Jaxon Parisi, Charlie O’Connor and Nicholas Pascarella all starred for the 49ers on offense. Jack Molloy and Ryan Johnson took long runs to the house for the Saints.

PEE WEE 3: In an epic battle of two high octane offensive teams, the Jets and Giants traded TDs for TDs until Big Blue eked out the win. Josh Behar led the Jets with several long, electrifying TD runs. The Jets offense was also helped by the stellar play of Mike Connolly who threw one TD extra point pass to Behar and had several long runs for great yardage as well as snagging several flags and making a nice block of an intended TD Pass. Rounding out the Jets offense and defense was spirited play by Matt Cangelosi, Joe Walsh, Robert Trey Rowland and Christian Medrano.

The Redskins played the Titans. Patrick Murphy ran the length of the field for a touchdown. Brendan Gigante and James Hammelman both carried the ball well gaining some big rushing yards. Bryan Birki helped to lead the offense at quarterback. Christian Mall and Tommy DeRespino played a solid defense. For the Titans: James, Jace, Jack, Paul, Gabe and Tyler all came to play and did an outstanding job running, passing and grabbing flags.
