50th Anniversary Friends Book Sale
The FRIENDS of the Floral Park Library will hold their 50th anniversary FRIENDS book sale on the library's grounds and in the meeting room on Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event always draws huge crowds to browse through the fiction, reference and children's books available for purchase at very reasonable prices. The sale will also include records, CDs and video tapes. They are used but still enjoyable.

Knights of Columbus Bowling
Last Thursday's explosive exhibition of pin-pounding, by the Floral Park Knights of Columbus bowlers was, by far, the most outstanding night ever recorded in the more than half-century-old league's existence. Throughout this year's activity, the Caseys put up almost unbelievable numbers, night after night but last Thursday's assault on the hapless pins was a sight to behold for any bowling enthusiast.
