Malachy J. Wienges, of Floral Park, died on May 31, 1998. He attended Pratt Institute. He worked for the City of New York for 45 years and was the designer of the FDR Drive, West Side Highway and NYS Thruway. Mr. Wienges was one of the founders of District Council 37 Engineers Guild NYC and was a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. Husband of Anne. Father of Malachy George and Mary Ann Fewkes. Father-in-law of Noreen and Robert. Brother of Florence Henck. Grandfather of Rebecca, Jacquelin and Rob Fewkes. Arrangements were made by the Krauss Funeral Home, Franklin Square. Funeral Mass at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
