Republican Legislators Denounce Gulotta
As two Nassau County Democrats have announced their intentions to vie for the position of county executive, the nine Republican legislators made it clear, at a press conference held Tuesday, that they would not support Thomas Gulotta if he chooses to run for a fifth term as the leader of the county.

Music Students in Holiday Performance
The Music Department of Sewanhaka High School recently brought the sounds of the holiday season to the EAB Plaza in Uniondale. Over 60 students performed in the lobby of the plaza for the employees of and visitors to the EAB Plaza. The seventh-grade orchestra, under the direction of Music Department Chair Debra O'Connor, opened the program with selections including Skaters Waltz and Nutcracker March. The Senior High Jazz Band, conducted, by Christopher Doherty performed New York, New York and Chameleon. The Voices of Harmony, a select senior high vocal assembly, conducted by Rachel Spano, entertained the audience with songs, including We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Hashivenu. the students of the music department of Sewanhaka High School were proud to be part of the EAB Plaza Holiday Performance.
