The eyes and arms of the Floral Park Knights of Columbus keglers are back in their proper places, as evidenced by the "going over" they gave the Sterling Lanes' lumber during last Thursday's fine showing.
Paul Simonetti led the parade of Top-notchers, with a solid 565 set and Mike Honan dogged his heels, tossing a 204 game, 563 set. Frank Dehler shadowed them, with a 200 solo, 562 trio, while John O'Grady was cranking out a 551 set that had a 210 in its make-up. A Mike Gallagher 204 loner helped him post a 532, a step up on Paul Bergstrom and Brian Brady, knotted at 525 - Paul pitching a 212 single on the way. "Knobby" Gregory's 219 solo gave him a 524 trio, a whisker up on Eddy Hackimer's solid 523, with Paul Mastronardi a step behind, at 516. Pat Murphy had a 510 total, a whisker up on Greg Simicich's 509 while Tony Morena was rolling a 503, edging Joe Oswald's 502 effort. Joe O'Donnell and Jack Price did a "brother" act, at 500 and Pat Sweeney squeezed into the Elite level, with a 202 loner.
