Even though the season's end comes closer each week, the local Casey Keglers are still in high gear, as they continue to punish the Sterling Lanes' wood in true Council 2345 fashion.
Frank Dehler wore the Hotshot Crown, tossing games of 202 and 225 to post a fine 597 set, as Rich Lahey tailed him, with a 207 single, 581 triple while Paul Bergstrom, rolling a solid 569, took the third slot. Paul Simonetti spilled 560 sticks, Joe O'Donnell was a step behind, at 550 and Chet Strzepek was right there, at 546. A Mike Gallagher 200 solo led to a 533 trio chased by Greg Simicich, at 527 and Vinny DeGregorio with a 522 count. John Fittipaldi put a 513 on the books followed by a Jack Price 508 and Mike Derby's 507 effort. Pat Pallisco was the "Rear Guard of The Hotshots" with a 506.
Team action saw the Three Blind Mice, bossed by Paul Simonetti, do a 5-2 number on Jim Kearney's Drink, Drank, Drunk outfit while Rich Lahey led his Munsters to a 5-2 win over Eddy Goodloe's Goodo's 4. John O'Grady's What-a-Team eked out a 4-3 win over Fred Dorgler, Sr. and his Sons and Fathers combo while Sean Brady was piloting his Bombers to a 5-2 win over the Greg Simicich-led Hurricanes. Ending the night's action, the On-Timers, with Mike Gallagher calling signals, whitewashed Ed Hackimer's Cliffhangers in a 7-0 battle.
