Being a student at Floral Park Memorial has gotten me to meet one of the best friends of a lifetime, David. Although David was handicapped he didn't let that bother him one bit. He was funny and outgoing just like us all. David and I had marine biology together and since he had Muscular Dystrophy, he could not complete the labs. So I dissected the animals with him. David was the best friend any one could have, he was kind, funny, caring, and most of all, well natured.

I was saddened to hear about his death on Wednesday, July 9, it went so quickly, I just talked to him the other day on the computer and he seemed fine to me. Things happen for a reason, although sometimes we don't know the reason, God took David away from us, but he will live in our hearts forever and we will never forget the great person he was.

Like Billy Joel says "Only the Good Die Young" and to me David was better than good. He will be missed. We love you Dave always and forever!
