Maurice Spadaford, 90, of Floral Park, died on June 24, 2004. He retired in 1966 as Boro Superintendent for the NYC Dept. of Sanitation. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Grace. Precious memories of his devotion and love will be treasured always by his children, Richard Spadaford, Maureen Kamermayer (Bob), Arlene Veltri ((John), six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, New Hyde Park. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of the Snows RC Church, Floral Park. Interment Mount St. Mary's Cemetery.
