Frank Anthony Cuomo 77 of Decatur, AL, passed away on April 11, 2007. He was a native of Floral Park and was born on Oct. 11, 1929. Frank graduated with a master's degree in civil engineering and was retired from Scientific Design Engineering and Ebasco Engineering. He was a member of Mensa International. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Josepe Cuomo and Josephine Naclerio Cuomo. He is survived by his loving wife Pearl Cooper Cuomo; three sisters, Christine Sanders of Niceville, FL, Eleanor Kolbenheyer of Hunninton, NY, and AnnaMarie Fanto of Plainville, NY; his children, Steven Cuomo (Beth), Christopher Cuomo, John Cuomo, Joseph Cuomo (Christine), Susan Anders (Robert); three stepchildren, Joseph Gulli, Mary C. Cooper and Amie Gulli Southern (Morris); goddaughter Betty Jo (Sissy) Bone; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A service took place in Decatur at the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church with Father Joe Culotta presiding. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Reddin of Alacare Hospice and also thank Frank's many caregivers and nursing staff of Alacare, mostly, Brook, Jenifer, Desiree and Lawonda. Donations may be made to the Lord Building Fund.
Ursula McCabe, 74, died on April 24, 2007. She was a longtime employee of Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. Sister of Muriel Clark and Kevin McCabe. Aunt of nine nieces and nephews. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Floral Park. Funeral Mass at St. Anne's RC Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
