In searching through The Long Island Catholic newspaper archives, the Diocese of Rockville Centre unearthed hundreds of historical photographs of parishes throughout the diocese. In the spirit of the jubilee year of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, a Diocesan Time Capsule has been created.

The diocese wanted to give residents an opportunity to get a "glimpse of their community's past."
