I predicted that the flood would happen again. Once again I would like to thank the mayor, village hall, sanitation department, police department and fire rescue nurse. I would also like to thank my neighbors, Pete and Arlene, the kindest people in the world.

Well, it is not just the clogged sump although that contributes to the problem every time.

There are no drains on Primrose Avenue toward the practice track.

I observed exactly what is happening. The water is collecting on Primrose (South) and then it turns down to Mayfair where most of the water misses the drain, which is located on Mayfair.

Mayor, you must put in multiple catch basins on Mayfair to alleviate the stress on the sump. Also drains must be put in on Primrose. In the meantime, put in multiple catch basins. This will alleviate some stress on the system.

I know that the village has hired a company to assess the problem but we cannot wait any longer. If a hurricane hits us, the West End will be destroyed. Although there are some of us who did not get water, a hurricane will destroy the West End because of the poor drainage system.

Our system could not even handle two inches of rain this past time. This flood has never happened at night. I assume God is watching over us. Eventually, someone will drown.

My neighbors were flooded again, although not as bad.

My American dream of owning a house in Floral Park has become a nightmare.
