Suozzi Campaign Fund Continues to Grow
Notwithstanding the public's riveted attention to the continuing battle for the White House, a packed house, estimated at nearly 600 supporters, showed up on Nov. 30 at a $250 per person fundraiser for Glen Cove Mayor Tom Suozzi hosted at the Chateau Briand on Old Country Road in Westbury.

City Council Meets Briefly
The Glen Cove City Council met on Dec. 5 for what turned out to be a ten-minute public meeting. The schedule for city council meetings has been revised for the month of December. The next meeting will be on Dec. 19, 6:30 p.m. in City Hall.

Physically Fit Students at Hofstra
Twenty-five students from Landing Elementary School and 25 students from Connolly Elementary School participated in the Seventh Annual Physical Fitness Achievement Trip at Hofstra University on Dec. 4. Miss Luparello and Miss Serani have coordinated this program which highlights those students excelling on the New York State Physical Fitness Test and other school-related areas. These students continually demonstrate positive role model abilities, good sportsmanship skills, completion of homework and are good citizens within the Glen Cove community.
