Teens Arrested in Assault of GC Police Officer
On Saturday, Nov. 2, Glen Cove police received a call at 11:30 p.m. regarding a large group of teenagers causing a disturbance on Brewster Street, near the Brewster Street apartments in downtown Glen Cove. According to Det. Sgt. John Nagle of the Glen Cove Police Department, PO David Sucharski responded to the dispute that had apparently started at a party in St. Paul's Church hall and moved toward Brewster Street.

North Shore High School Viking Sports
The Vikings finished their league season play last week in a face-off against East Rockaway, but much to North Shore's dismay, the team was unable to repeat an early-season win against the Lady Rocks. The Rocks were 11-1 in league play and crowned champions of Conference IX. While the Rocks swept the Vikings, every game was played tightly, with scores of 23-25, 19-25 and 23-25.
