At the Glen Cove City Council meeting of March 11, it was ordained that Midge Street and Maryland Avenue in the Landing area of the city be changed to one way streets. The mayor had a petition from residents and a letter from GCPO Toldo stating that making the streets one way should help to alleviate traffic problems. FULL STORY

This year will mark the Comanchees' final year of playing baseball together, ending a history that began nine years ago. It is quite an accomplishment that the core of the team is still together. Most of the team members are 18 years old, graduating from high school and going on to college.
