Safe to Say Security Is Subject of NS BOE
At the North Shore Board of Education meeting on Dec. 1, members continued their discussion of security at North Shore Schools. In light of the recent vandalism to school property, security guards have been added temporarily to patrol school grounds after school hours. Guards also maintain the front doors at each school in the district and monitor everyone coming in during the school day.

Varsity Fall 2003 Sports Booster Awards Night

North Shore High School Fall Sports Awards
North Shore High School athletes, coaches and parents gathered for the annual fall sports awards ceremony last week and celebrated the various honors accrued. Three teams -- volleyball, girls soccer and field hockey - secured playoff berths. Swimmer Kristalynn Kempton competed at the state swim championships. Twenty athletes were recognized by their sport for individual honors: seven All County, one All State, one All County Honorable Mention and 16 All Conference or All Division players.
