Ralph Suozzi Sworn In as Mayor of Glen Cove
When Ralph V. Suozzi was sworn in as the 22nd mayor of Glen Cove, he was the fourth Suozzi to be so honored, following in the footsteps of his uncle, the Hon. Joseph A. Suozzi, his father, the Hon. Vincent (Jimmy) Suozzi, and cousin, County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi. The Glen Cove High School auditorium was filled to a standing room only capacity with family, old friends, new friends, political supporters and many people who fit more than one description.

Suozzi Begins Second Term as County Executive
Tom Suozzi continued his tenure as Nassau County Executive on Jan. 1, 2006, when he was sworn in for his second term. Amid speculation that Suozzi will eventually announce a run for governor, the Democrat spent New Year's Day at home in Glen Cove addressing the crowd which filled the Wunsch Auditorium at the Robert C. Finley Middle School.

Saint Pat's CYO Track & Field 2006 Registration
Registration for the St. Patrick CYO Track & Field program will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14 from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. at St. Patrick's gymnasium, and Sunday, Jan. 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 .m. at St Patrick's auditorium, 12 Pearsall Avenue, Glen Cove. The program is open to all boys and girls in grades K - 8 who live in Glen Cove, Sea Cliff, Glen Head, Roslyn, Bayville, Locust Valley and Oyster Bay.

Viking Foundation Announces Grant Recipients for 2005-2006
