AHRC Rose Ball Honors Glen Cove Resident
The Nassau County AHRC Foundation recently honored foundation board member Robert M. Pascucci, Glen Cove resident and president of Jobco Inc., and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton at its 56th Annual Rose Ball. The evening was a success with more than $570,000 raised to benefit individuals with developmental disabilities.

Glen Cove Jr. Football and Cheerleading Seeks Supporters
Glen Cove Jr. Football and Cheerleading Association is a non-profit sports program for children ages 5 through 12 in the City of Glen Cove. The organization's goals are to meet the needs of our community by providing a youth sports program that is positive and rewarding. The program focuses on teaching fundamentals, participation, education, safety, team spirit and fun.

North Shore Baseball Alumni Play for Youth
What started as a kitchen table argument between brothers over the relative merits of North Shore High School alumni players coached by Mike Metzger and Dom Gatti blossomed into the first North Shore High School Men's Alumni Baseball Game, held Friday, Aug. 25 at Glen Cove City Stadium. Emphasizing the "fun" in fundraiser, the game benefited the North Shore Baseball Association Travel Program.
