According to Assistant Superintendent Dr. Shari Camhi, the Glen Cove School District is proud to announce that, on average, the passing rate on this year's state English Language Arts assessments went up an average of 8.16 percent.

Portledge Middle School Defeats Faculty, Parents and Janaszak on Ice
On Saturday, June 2, Portledge Middle Schoolers gathered with their parents, teachers and a special guest for a night of hockey before school lets out for summer. Port Washington Ice Academy was the venue for a kids-versus-adults, winner-take-all showdown with members of the middle school ice hockey team playing against parents and middle school faculty.
