Connector Roadway Cause for Recognition
In recognition of the completion of Phase 1 of the Glen Cove Connector Roadway, also known as the causeway, or bridge, that leads to the waterfront, Glen Cove Mayor Ralph V. Suozzi hosted a reception on July 27 to thank the elected officials who worked to help the city to get funding for the project, and the workforce who physically completed the job.

He recently participated in the annual fluke contest sponsored by Michael's Bait and Tackle in Great Kills, Staten Island.

Second Annual Marquis Olympics
At the second annual Marquis Olympics, staff and residents participated in wheelchair races, balloon shaving, pie eating and egg toss contests. All participants received a gold medal, a customized T-shirt and customized trophy donated by Valley Sport and Trophy.
