Walter P. Baricevic Sr., of Cazenovia, NY, passed away in March at his home. Walt was born Dec. 1, 1935 in New York City, the son of Ivan and Mary Medved Baricevic. He was a longtime resident of Long Island moving to Cazenovia 15 years ago.

Walt was employed in the Locust Valley Post Office for 31 years retiring as a clerk in 1992. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #578 in Glen Cove since 1974. An avid hunter, he was a member of the Fayetteville-Manlius Rod and Gun Club and the NRA.

He was predeceased by a son, Walter Jr., in 2004. Surviving are a son Michael J. Baricevic of Cazenovia; two daughters, Linda Neales (Chip Carter) of Boiling Springs, SC, and Lisa Sappelsa (Eric) of Smithtown; a daughter-in-law Tamia Baricevic of Meadville, PA; a brother John Baricevic (Anne) and a sister Elizabeth Fabijanic, all of Sea Cliff; six grandchildren, Danielle, Raechel, Richard, Nicole, Katelyn and Cara; two nephews, Cyril and Johnny; and a cousin Marie Medved (John Clarke).

Arrangements were made by the Ayer & Zimmer Funeral Home, Cazenovia. Funeral services were held at St. James Church, Cazenovia. Spring burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Cazenovia.

Margaret Buckhout-Gremelsbacker (nee Mizvesky) died on April 15, 2008. Wife of the late Arthur Buckhout and the late Eugene Gremelsbacker. Service at the Reformed Church of Locust Valley. Interment East Hillside Cemetery. Ralph R. Worth, of Glen Cove, formerly of West Hartford, CT, died on April 17, 2008 at age 92.
