In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War (1861-1865), Frank Hendricks and Linda Pratt will present a program highlighting the music from that tumultuous period. In addition, they will discuss the impact of the Civil War on New York, parlor etiquette, and social problems, offer some background on the composers and their music, and present some history about Abraham Lincoln in New York, and luminary William Cullen Bryant.
