Car Care Company Serves The Community

Earlier this year, a new business opened in the Glen Cove community. In late September, Lubriman Corp., an on-site oil change, car wash, car care and maintenance company, performed a free 12-point inspection to all types of vehicles from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the parking lot of the Chamber of Commerce building.

“We had about 15 different cars, all makes and models that came during the day,” said Lubriman Managing Director Martin Jacobs. “Every car that came in from 2013 models on down was in need of some sort of maintenance whether it was fluid levels, tire pressure or worn out wiper blades.”

Lubriman Corp. is located at 1 Garvies Point Road and has been in business in the community since July of this year. They are a “We Come to You” car care business allowing customers to choose when and where they’d like to have their car maintenance and services rendered.

“We have a mobile truck that travels to people’s homes and businesses throughout Nassau County,” said Jacobs. “We take care of any type of car or light truck, whether it is domestic or foreign, providing services which include check-ups on fluid levels, tires and tire pressure, hoses and belts, wipers and interior and exterior lighting.”

One of the best things about Lubriman Corp. is that they sponsor car care maintenance for senior citizens who live in Glen Cove. Recently they helped a long time Glen Cove resident with servicing her vehicle, performing an onsite oil change, checking the fluids and washing and treating her car.

“Giving back to our senior citizens is miniscule compared to what they have been doing for us and for generations to come,” said Jacobs. “It happened to be (this resident’s) birthday and we thought it would be a nice gift for her.”

Lubriman Corp. currently has one van that they use to service vehicles but are looking to expand their operation. Jacobs said that the company is looking to add more trucks and eventually hire more employees.
