Doris Franck, of Glen Cove, died on Nov. 12, 2009. She was born on Nov. 30, 1914. Mother of Yvonne (Paul) Bender. Grandmother of Brian and Carolyn Bender, Sharon and Brian Pacocha, Kathryn and Walter Rekstis, and Kevin and Grace Bender. Great-grandmother of Kathryn Michele and Kelly Doris.

Doris was proud to be a third grade teacher for many years in the New York City School System. Doris was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the North Shore Glen Cove Hospital.
