David B. Rosenberg, DDS, Glen Cove High School Class of 1974, and his wife Jean Rosenberg, died on June 11, 2009 while cascading the waterfalls of the Damajaguas River in the Dominican Republic. They were both 52 years old. David was the son of Paul Rosenberg, DDS, and Barbara Rosenberg. Barbara is a retired physical education teacher for many years of the Glen Cove School District.
After graduating from Glen Cove High School, David attended SUNY Albany and NYU Dental School. He became one of the most respected endodontists in the United States. He lived and practiced in Vero Beach, FL. He gave seminars to other dentists from around the world at his office in Vero Beach. He also lectured nationally and internationally on endodontics.
Jean Rosenberg was active in charity work with the Food Allergy Network as well as Habitat for Humanity.
He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Dr. Paul Rosenberg; his brothers, Gary and Robert; and his sons, Steven and Edward.
