Muriel was born in Brooklyn and graduated from St. Joseph’s College and went on after college to get a masters in math. After her husband died she went back to school while teaching and got her masters in education. Prior to teaching at St. Patrick’s she had taught at St. Anne’s in Garden City. She is fondly remembered by her students and continued to hear from many even after she retired. The family wishes to thank all those who did stay in touch and sent Christmas cards. Hearing from and about her former students was a delight of her life.
