On July 16, my best friend Mike Galluccio passed away. Mike was 51 years old and had his whole life ahead of him. If you’ve never had the privilege of meeting him or getting to know him, you missed out on a great guy. I have been friends with Mike for over 40 years.
One of my fondest memories was our tradition of watching the Super Bowl together year after year, having dinners together and many phone conversations that always made us laugh. There are so many more memories of our friendship that will remain close to my heart. We were always there for each other.
Throughout his illness, I will always remember the courage and strength he showed. He always remained positive and would never let any setback get the best of him. I will never forget you, Mike. You were the best friend anyone could ever have. Rest in peace, “Botch.”
