Every FA competitor medals in exciting meet

The Friends Academy Girls Winter Track team decisively won its first Conference Championship after beating second-place Cold Spring Harbor High School by 20 points and third-place Mineola High School by 53 points. The Lady Quakers dominated the 55-meter race, finishing first, second and third.

“We are so excited as a team about this achievement,” said coach Lauren Carballo. “But what is really great is that we have such an extremely young team,” she added. “This is a team with a lot of heart and spirit.”
