The North Shore Football team was proud to announce that three of its players were selected to participate in the Annual Long Island Classic football game on Thanksgiving morning. The Long Island Classic game is played between the Nassau County All-Stars against the Suffolk County All-Stars. Seniors Billy Johansen (fullback), Lou Mastellone (tight end) and Anthony Croce (offensive guard) were chosen by the Nassau County Coaches Association. Assistant coach Chris Galano served as the defensive backs coach as head coach Dan Agovino was the Nassau game coordinator. All three members of the North Shore team were impressive in the Nassau 21-8 victory, with Billy Johansen scoring the first touchdown of the game. Billy also was awarded the honor of All-County for the 2009 season while Mastellone was selected to the All-Conference team.
