Two major motion picture stars are scheduled to be on hand this evening Nov. 5, when their new movie premieres in Great Neck as part of the Great Neck Arts Center's Cinematheque Film Series at the Squire Theater.

On Oct. 6, when John Primi, 92, married Norma Ortiz, both ABC and NBC television were there for the simple, civil ceremony, performed by Village Clerk John Dominsky, at the Village Hall on Baker Hill Road. FULL STORY

As autumn closes in, the annual Great Neck United Community Fund Five Mile Run can't be too far off. This year's race, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8 at the US Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point will be the 21st consecutive year for the event. Jose Lopez, chairman of the Great Neck South Middle School Physical Education Department and popular cross country coach, will be this year's race director. Allen Honig of Poultry Mart, an enthusiastic sponsor of the event for several years, lends his financial support, once again, this year.
