This Sunday get your running shoes on and get set to have a "spooktacular" time as the 27th Annual Five Mile/Five K/1 Mile Run takes place through the streets of Great Neck.

On-site registration for the event takes place starting at 7:15 a.m. at the Great Neck North Middle School Gymnasium. The entry fee is $25 for the 5M/5K and athletes will receive a commemorative shirt and the top finishers in each category will receive a trophy. The entry fee for the One Mile Run is $5 and each entrant will receive a medal. The 1 Mile Run will start at 8:30 a.m. and will be followed by the 5M at 8:45 and the 5K at 9.

The event benefits the United Community Fund of Great Neck and North New Hyde Park which supports; Child Abuse Prevention Services, CLASP Children's Center, COPAY, Girl Scouts, Great Neck Senior Center, Great Neck Student Aid Fund, Manhasset-Great Neck EOC, Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, North Shore Child and Family Guidance, North Shore-LIJ Health System Foundation, Open-Door Parent-Child Caring Center, Sara's Center, The Salvation Army, and The Visiting Nurse Association of Long Island.
