St. Aloysius Woman’s Auxiliary Luncheon

The annual St. Aloysius Woman’s Auxiliary luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 2, at noon at the Swan Club, Glenwood Landing. A singer and keyboard player will perform and the proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the St. Aloysius Outreach Ministry. Price is $45 per person. Library Station Branch Film Series: Spring Flings

Queens Quiet Skies invites the public to learn how and why the recent airspace redesign programs at LaGuardia Airport have created unprecedented noise and pollution problems.  Event is 7 to 9 p.m. at Bayside High School auditorium (enter at 32nd Avenue entrance between Corporal Kennedy St and 208th Street in Bayside). Speakers will include experts on aviation, environmental law and community action.
