From 7 to 10 p.m., Temple Emanuel throws the best dance party on Long Island with everyone’s favorite DJ/dance instructor Louis Del Prete. The Brotherhood of Temple Beth-El will be having a garage sale in the parking lot of the temple at 5 Old Mill Road from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hundreds of donated items including jewelry, housewares, toys, bikes and more. The event will be cancelled if it rains.

Seventeenth Annual Blessing Of The Fleet

Sponsors will be accepting greetings and benedictions from dignitaries and community representatives, in blessing the feast, at Steppingstone Marina on Sunday, June 9 at noon. It will take place rain or shine. A skipper’s meeting for all participating boats will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the dock. Sponsored by the Steppingstone Blessing of the Fleet Committee, Steppingstone Yacht Club and the Stepping Stone Sailing Club. A program of events is available at the marina.
