At 12:30 p.m. the Great Neck Park District presents a nature program: Long Walk, at Kings Point Park, at the Redbrook Road entrance. Meet in the first paved lot. No registration is necessary.

Jim Altamore and Trio perform Sinatra and Standards at 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the Main Library, 159 Bayview Avenue. Jim Altamore is an international jazz singer of popular standards from what is known today as the Great American Songbook. Jim’s version of Fly Me to the Moon is featured in Chazz Palminteri’s Broadway play, A Bronx Tale.

Manhasset-Lakeville Fire And Water Districts Board Of Commissioners  

The board meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 5 p.m. every month. All meetings are conducted in the boardroom at the district office, 170 East Shore Rd., unless otherwise publicly notified. Regular office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The board is available on a daily basis to respond to concerns, questions and issues of the district residents pertaining to fire/water district matters.
