The Village of Great Neck Plaza welcomes residents, neighbors and friends to another evening of fine dining and entertainment under the stars. After the successful Promenade Night on June 25 on Middle Neck Road and Grace Avenue, this second Promenade Night of Summer 2009 will take place on Bond Street and North Station Plaza, reprising the two very successful Summer 2008 promenades on Bond Street, with this summer’s version being expanded to include the restaurants on North Station Plaza.
The Promenade Night has proven to be a popular attraction for an enjoyable summer evening. As with the June 25 event, some of the region’s best dining establishments will be participating in this promenade, including Hinata, Elaines’s Asian Bistro, La Rotunda, La Gioconda, and Turquoise. “Our promenades are developing into one of the summer’s most anticipated events, a wonderful evening out for great food, entertainment and spending time with family and friends,” said Great Neck Plaza Mayor Jean Celender.
The Bond Street/North Station Plaza edition of Great Neck Plaza’s Summer ‘09 Promenade Nights is scheduled for Thursday, July 16 from 6:30 until 10:30 p.m. In addition to fine dining, there will be live music from Danny Keane and Gathering Time. Many of the stores around the community will stay open late for convenient shopping.
The fun will take place all within walking distance of convenient parking available on-street and in municipal parking fields and garages, and the LIRR train station.
