With a new superintendent of schools (Tom Dolan) just sworn in for the Great Neck Public Schools, it is truly time to say “goodbye” to our retiring superintendent, Ron Friedman. Ron, who has guided our marvelous school district for the last five years, has done a wonderful job and will surely be missed by all.
We thank Ron Friedman for the time, the love, the patience, the expertise and the skills he brought to the school district in just a short time. Ron made his mark in Great Neck, always ensuring that each and every child received the very best possible education, an education often tailored for a particular child with particular needs. His interest was the best interest of each child. He was there, he understood, he made it work.
We regret having to say good-bye to our good friend Ron Friedman so soon. And while we wish Ron and his family all of the very best for a bright and happy future, we know we will miss Ron and the strong bonds of friendship that he has formed with so many of us.
Good luck, Ron! Enjoy!
