Register now for Lacrosse Camp sponsored by the Great Neck Public Schools Boys Athletic Association (BAA). The program, for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players, runs from Monday, June 25 through Thursday, June 28, and is open to Great Neck resident students entering kindergarten through grade 12. (Rain date for the program is Friday, June 29.) All activities will be held at the South High School athletic complex, 341 Lakeville Road.
The BAA Lacrosse Camp, now in its second year, is designed to provide young athletes with the opportunity to become better lacrosse players through learning individual skills, as well as developing “field sense” and team building. The fun yet competitive program will include stick work, drills, and scrimmages. Goalkeeping will be offered to older players. All players will receive a Great Neck Lacrosse pinnie.
Players will be grouped according to the school grade they will be entering in September 2012. Session 1, for those entering kindergarten through grade 2, will meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Session 2 will be for those entering grades 3 through 6, and Session 3 for those entering grades 7 through 12. Sessions 2 and 3 will meet from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The fee for each session is $60. A $10 per child family discount is offered for siblings.
The highly experienced and award-winning teaching staff includes varsity, junior varsity, and PAL lacrosse coaches.
