There will be a meeting of the booster club at Hicksville High School at 7:30 p.m.
The Hicksville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will be holding a fashion show and gift auction at Station 1 Firehouse, at 20 E. Marie St. Admission is $15 and includes wine, cheese and crackers. A raffle and gift auction will take place throughout the show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m. Limited seating, reservations are a must. The Sarah Grace Foundation for Children with Cancer, Inc. will be holding their 11th annual Night of Laughter. Comedian Rick Morgan will host the event, which features the stand-up comedy of Isaacs and Baker, John Consoli, Lori Grasman and Hiram Kasten. The show will be held at Milleridge Cottage at 585 N. Broadway in Jericho. Tickets are $75 per person and includes admission, show, dinner, drinks and dessert. Advance raffle packages are also available for $25. Advance purchase is required. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. The benefit fundraiser will support the programs and activities of the Hicksville-based organization. Joseph Barry Knights of Columbus presents The Acchords live in concert. The band will be performing hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Casual attire, there will be an open bar, dinner and dessert. The Hicksville Gregory Museum will hold their annual science fair at the Social Hall of St. Stephen's Church. The event is open to any student in Hicksville and surrounding communities in grades 1 through 12. Deadline for entry form submissions is April 23.
