Brigid deLime (Cole), 68, of Toms River, passed away on May 8, 2011 at home surrounded by her family after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.
Bridie was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and came to the United States with her family as a young girl. She chose Denville, NJ, as her home, where she lived for over 30 years, before retiring to Toms River. Bridie dedicated her successful career to providing products for sensory integration and neuro-development for special needs persons. Most recently she started her own consulting company deLime Enterprises, LLC.
Christodoula Artoglou, of Hicksville, passed away on April 14, 2011. Wife of the late Konstantinos. Mother of Harry. Also survived by many other family members and friends.

Nancy Sherlock (nee Smart) died on March 29, 2011. A lifelong resident of Hicksville, she was a registered nurse. Beloved wife of Donald. Loving mother of Samantha. Rita C. Reddy, 82, of Bethpage, formerly of Hicksville, passed away March 5, 2011. Wife of the late Raymond (1991). Mother of Raymond (Joan), Kathy D’eri, Timothy (Gail), Patrick (Carolyn), Susan Baur (Paul) and Laura (Gene). Grandmother of six. Sister of Jim Burns, the late Bill Burns (Ernie) and sister-in-law of Dorothy Higgins and Barbara Reddy. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held March 10 at St. Martin of Tours RC Church with interment at Calverton National Cemetery.
Ernestine A. Claisse, 90, of Easton, PA former longtime resident of Hicksville, died Feb. 25, 2011 at home. Born March 27, 1920 in New York City, NY, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ernestine Matthes Hambrecht. Her husband Charles H. Claisse died in 1989.
She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Tatamy, PA, and former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hicksville where she was active in the Forever 55 group. She had also been a member of the Nassau County Homemakers Council.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Roth and her husband Hal with whom she resided and Madalon C. Ritter and her husband Richard of Leesburg, FL; three grandchildren, Andrew and Steven Ritter and Darlene Kingston; five great-grandchildren, Caitlin Kingston, Ryan, Nicole, Chase and Matthew Ritter.
Arrangements were made by the Ashton Funeral Home. Services private. Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 240 S. 8th St., Tatamy, PA 18085.
Romanelle Chitty, of Hempstead, died on Feb. 17, 2011. She was a teacher at Hempstead High School. She loved being an educator and was a devoted Christian. Loving mother of Lionel (Leila). Dear sister of Sarah Holloway, Mary Alice Brown, Hayward Chitty, Gloria Waller, Belton Chitty and the late Daniel. Cherished grandmother of Ian and Camilla. Her son Lionel is the current president of the Hicksville Chamber of Commerce. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home. A religious service was held with Pastor Harold Lay officiating.
Nancy L. Curley (nee Garton), of Hicksville, passed away on Feb. 9, 2011. Wife of Thomas C. Curley Sr. Mother of Deborah Brownlee (Bill), John, Eileen, Patricia and the late Thomas J. Curley Jr. Sister of Joan Garton (nee Perhaes). Grandmother of Ryan, Tommy, Logan and Lara. Aunt of many nieces. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A religious service was held at the funeral home, Pastor James Graziano officiated. Interment took place Feb. 14 at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mary Pat Colgan, of Hicksville, died on Jan. 23, 2011. She was a retired nurse after 39 years at Mary Immaculate Hospital. She was a member of Joseph Barry Columbiettes, the Red Hat Society and the Hicksville Historical Society. Beloved cousin of Joan Maloney, Rose Martin, Austin Funfgeld, Eileen Giromonte, Patricia Burnsides, Betty Erickson and Adele Giordano. Devoted great-aunt of many, including John and Lucille Martin. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Mass at Holy Family RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
Louis Rudowsky, who resided in Sunrise, FL, and was a 30-year resident of Hicksville, passed away on Jan. 17, 2011. Born on Oct. 27, 1924, He was a WWII veteran 101st Airborne and a retired taxi owner. He was past commander of Jewish War Veterans and a life member of Disabled American Veterans, board member of Loyal Order of Trench Rats. He was recognized for 5300 hours of volunteering at Broward County VA Clinic and Mended Hearts. He was married to Florence for 63 years. Father to Judy Speciale (Richard), Sandra Haiken (Leonard), Gail and Sheldon (Carol). Cherished grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of six.
