Frederic A. Krahn, 93, of Hicksville, died on Nov. 16, 2010. He was a founding member of the Hicksville Public Library Book Club, founding member of the east Meadow Film Society and editor of the Educational Film Guide 1949-55. Janet Ann Palmese (nee Terrell), of Hicksville, died on Nov. 12, 2010.
Janet was a lifelong resident of Hicksville and graduated from Hicksville High in 1952. She was the beloved wife of the late Carmen and is survived by her five children: Daniel (Madeline) Kerhonkson, NY, Gary (Irene) of Hicksville, Karen Grappone (Paul) Hillsborough, NJ, Edward (Lanjo) of Hicksville and Thomas (Carmela) of Merrick.
