Letter: Civic Extends Thanks

The Hicksville Gardens Civic Association would like to take this opportunity to gratefully acknowledge Yum! Brands, Ken Bedrosian and Rush Properties, Inc., Alvin Rush for their contributions to the local community regarding its needs and its requests during the reconfiguration and development of Delco Plaza in Hicksville.

Not often does a large corporation commit itself to working closely with residents’ concerns over the environment and their lifestyle needs. However, Yum! Brands and Rush Properties have set an example for others. Both have cooperated with the residents to achieve an environmentally friendly and an esthetically pleasing shopping mall.
Yum! Brands and Rush Properties have incorporated the safety and well-being of shoppers and at the same time introduced an enhancement to the local community. It is a rare occasion when everyone benefits. This is one of those times.
The Hicksville Gardens Civic Association thanks you once again.
