All Oyster Bay Town ice rinks will offer extended sessions during the holiday season, through Jan. 1, according to Town Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone.
“Skaters in the town have the option of skating in the great outdoors at Marjorie R. Post Community Park rink in Massapequa and at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park rink or indoor at the state-of-the art Town of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center located in Bethpage Community Park,” Councilman Macagnone said. “Admission prices make it a great value for your recreation dollar.”
Sessions are held in two-hour increments with many beginning 10 a.m. and ending as late as 10 p.m. In addition, two special New Year’s Day sessions will be held at the Town of Oyster Bay’s Ice Skating Center in Bethpage from 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. The complete holiday schedule and prices, as well as the remainder of the season, is posted on the town’s Website www.oysterbaytown.com.
