East Williston Park #1 vs. Merillon 8U Blue Sharks

The Blue Sharks completed a dream season on Sunday with their 8th straight victory by the score of 10-2. Five pitchers combined for a 4 hitter while striking out 14. Way to go Siva, Jackson, Ben, Kenny and Ryan W. The offense was led by Jackson Benjamin who was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s. Ryan Wasserman and Kenny Hirschfeld were a combined 4 for 6 with 2 RBI’s. Also contributing on offense was Siva Paturi who was 2 for 3 and Ben Bidner who was 1 for 3 with an RBI. The defense was solid as usual keeping the opposing team to only 2 runs.

Our team finished the travel season (summer and fall) a combined 17-0-1. The boys did an incredible job all season. Coach Ken and I are extremely honored and proud to have been given the opportunity to lead such a great group of boys. Go Sharks!
