Dr. William Facibene MD PC “Athletics”
Vs.Bagels & A Whole Lot More Garden City “Dodgers”

The A’s played a spirited game in week 4. Ryan Lessing showed cat-like reflexes on the mound to record a put out in the first inning, and John Vlantis put a charge in the offense early with a frozen rope to the outfield. Jack Nathan and Jesse Witt combined on a sprawling play to get an out at second base in the top of the second and then in the bottom of the inning smashed back-to-back blasts to right field. Ben Goodwin, Jack Kareff, Eli Goodwin and Louie Messina contributed with singles in the late innings, and Sam Motelson showed his versatility by rapping a single in the bottom of the second and making a nice defensive play to get an out in the top of the third. Jared Puntus contributed by assisting on a put out in the second inning and Matthew Farkas caught the final inning of what was a very entertaining game.
