Prefered Material:
We use Quark X-Press 6.52 on Macintosh Computers making our preferred file formats Quark Xpress for Macintosh or PDF files. PDF files, CD’s accepted will be output from a laser printer at 85 line screen for reproduction.
E-mail & Digital Camera Ready Ads
PDF files are “self contained” files and do not require additional files (photos, logos, etc.) to be sent with them. You need the Adobe Acrobat program to PDF files. Quark files require additional “support” files (photos, logos, etc.) You would use the “Collect for Output” command to save all the necessary files together, so they can be transported to us. This does not collect the fonts. The fonts must be saved manually and included with your other files. All related files should be saved together in one folder that can be compressed and sent to us as one attachment.

Deadlines

Production Charges
No production charges will be made for PDF files prepared to exact scheduled size.
Ads requiring art department preparation will be billed for production services at a $35 hourly charge

Publisher's Protective Clause
The publisher reserves the right to revise on 10 days notice any rates, terms and conditions of this rate card applicable to contract advertisers. Revisions affecting non-contract advertising may be made without notice. Publisher is not responsible for failure to publish any advertisement because of labor disputes, strikes, government action, war, fire, riots, breakdown of equipment, acts of God or other circumstances beyond the publisher's control.
Terms & Conditions
Upon signing orders or contracts payment for first insertion is required. Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) or checks will be accepted for pre-payment.
Contracts may be cancelled at short rate at least one week prior to closing date. No cancellations will be accepted unless received in writing.
Cancellations are not accepted after closing date for space reservations. Advertising copy from most recent insertion will run if copy is not received by specific deadline, or, if there is no previous insertion, client is liable for cost of contracted space not used, and space will be allocated at discretion of publisher.
Terms
Net payable upon receipt. Late charges will be applied at the rate of 1.5% per month. After 30 days, advertising can be withheld until the outstanding balance is paid. Any collection expense will be borne by advertiser.
Copy Regulation
All advertisements are accepted and published by the publisher entirely on the representation that the agency and/or the advertiser are properly authorized to publish the entire contents and subject matter thereof, It is understood that in consideration of the publication of advertisements the advertiser and/or agency will indemnify and save the publisher harmless from and against any claims or suit for libel, violation, or right, of privacy, plagiarism, copyright or trademark infringement and any other claims or suits based on the contents or subject matter of such publication. The right is reserved to reject any advertising considered objectionable as to wording or appearance, or not in harmony with the best interest of our readers.
Pre Printed Inserts (Net)

Postal regulations do not permit forwarding indicia on inserts. Return permit indicia is allowed. All inserts must be approved 10 days prior to publication to avoid postal penalties.
