During the week of July 7, the Island Trees School District offered 2 separate Sport Camps. The Girls' Varsity Basketball Coach, Andy Schneider, along with his Assistant Coach, Noreen Naughton, conducted a camp for well over 70 girls in grades 4-6. Andy and Noreen were assisted by a number of their varsity players. The girls were taught all the fundamentals associated with basketball. They were involved in shooting drills and dribbling contests and other fun activities.

The wrestlers also had a sport camp for students in grades 4-8. Middle School Wrestling Coach Ryan Vinberg, assisted by I.T. graduate, Kris Kellam, taught the athletes in grades 4-8 all about wrestling. Many wrestlers were first timers and learned a lot about the sport.
