The National Youth Flag Football League, an insured and officially registered partner of the NFL, welcomes the students and residents of Island Trees, Levittown and Hicksville to register for the Fall 2008 NFL flag football season.

NFL Flag is a non-contact youth football league and teams are comprised of 8-10 players. Friends can register together as full or partial teams. Individual players will be placed with classmates upon request. NFL Flag teaches all the basics of football with an emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork and fun. Beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of play are available. There are no weekday practices. Parents are welcome to coach.

The fall season will run from Sept. 13 - Nov. 30 and the schedule will be made around soccer so players can participate in both sports.

Registration will take place on Saturday July 26 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville in the lobby next to Starbucks below the food court. Boys and girls ages 5-17 are encouraged to register. Visit www.NYFFL.com for more information or e-mail NYFFL@yahoo.com.
