Each year the National Art Education Association sponsors a contest for students to design a flag for their annual conference. This year we are pleased to share the news that Audrey Zhang, a fifth grader at Island Trees Memorial Middle School, has been named the overall national champion of the YAM Flag Design Contest. Audrey’s flag will be turned into a digital illustration that will be printed onto the large flag that will fly for all to see at this year’s NAEA conference in San Diego.
Congratulations to Audrey for her fantastic work.
